A God Thing
There comes a time some days where we just stop and recognize what just happened had God’s hand all over it. Some people may say it was just a coincidence, but we know God was there in an extraordinary way. He brought His presence and power to bear on a specific moment in time. We understand it was not a coincidence, but something far more significant, God brought two people together who did not know each other, but both knew Him, and they shared a moment in time. The world around seems to stop at those moments. It is just God, the other person, and you.
This week, I had one of those moments. My sermon two Sundays from now is going to be on extending God’s Grace to others. God forgives us, so it is only right that we forgive others. God brought me in contact with a person who I never knew existed and loves God. This man has forgiven someone who did something so awful that I do not know if I could forgive a person who did that to me, but he did. That man who is now a cripple. He agreed to share his story with our church. But how can he get to church to share his story. The facility where he is staying agreed to provide transport, free of charge, to our church. Not only was my meeting with him a God moment but being able to get him to our church, is a God thing! God is Awesome!
